How to Use the Watering Schedule Generator
Choose a plant, enter the pot diameter in centimetres, pick the light level and the current season, then set a start date for the schedule. Press Generate Schedule and the tool lists the dates to water over the next four weeks. Press Export ICS to download a calendar file you can import into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. Use Clear to reset the form.
How the dates are calculated
The plant's general watering window is adjusted for pot size, season and light.
Smaller pots, summer and brighter light shorten the interval; winter and low light lengthen it.
The first date is your start date, and each following date is one interval later.
The ICS file contains one all-day event per watering date, so reminders stay on your own device.
