How to Use the Garden Area Planner
Enter the length and width of your bed in centimetres, choose the plant you want to grow, then press Plan. The tool divides each side by the plant's typical spacing and returns how many plants fit, plus a simple text grid. Use Clear to reset the form.
Reading the layout
The grid is a plan view: each x marks one plant position.
Columns run across the bed width and rows run along the bed length.
The count is a square grid, so leave paths or extra room where you need them.
Very large beds are truncated in the grid, but the total plant count is still exact.
